The Hope Family Thrift Store was created to provide financial support to the Austin Disaster Relief Network, provide for a clean, organized distribution center for disaster survivors and offer gently used quality merchandise at affordable prices to the local community.

Volunteers Needed…

Hope Family Thrift Store is now almost 5 years old and has grown so much we are in great need of your help! We need volunteers to help work with donations, keep the store clean, greet customers and help check out customers! There’s always something to do at HFTS! Check out this video to learn a little more.

If you are already an ADRN member, you can come anytime. Just let us know when. If not, you can attend a free 3 hour orientation class and we’ll get you started right away. Email if you’d like to start volunteering, or have any further questions.

If mucking out a house that’s been flooded isn’t for you, volunteering at the store can be YOUR way of supporting disaster survivors in central Texas.

We are happy to accept your gently used items at our Donation Drop off site at 1122 E 51st Street | Mon – Sat from 10am – 5:45pm. Drop off is located in the back parking lot at the dock doors. Drop your items, then come in the store to shop!!
