Disaster survivors can shop at the store for free, so if they specifically need the items that you donate, then those items will go straight to that survivor.   If not, the item remains on the sales floor for purchase , and  proceeds support the Austin Disaster Relief Network.   So, directly or indirectly, every donation contributes to the recovery of disaster survivors in our area.

Though our main focus is disaster recovery, we do partner with other charities to help  as we are able.   To name a few, we work with organizations serving the homeless community, student assistance agencies, and pregnancy resource centers.

Donate your gently used items AND come to shop regularly! Bring along family and friends to enjoy our great daily deals and weekly colored half off tags.  You can also follow our social media accounts and share with your friends, or sign up to be a staff volunteer and become a part of the HFTS Family!
