Furniture Pick Up-Delivery Driver

Hope Family Thrift Store in Austin, TX is hiring for furniture pick up/delivery driver. Responsibilities include driving a small box truck with a lift gate to pick up donated furniture and deliver sold furniture, as well as general receiving tasks. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, energetic, engaged, friendly, and willing to learn. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus. Four days at 32 hours per week including Saturdays.


  • driving small box truck with lift gate for furniture pick up and deliveries
  • assisting in moving furniture in receiving, warehouse, and sales floor
  • general warehouse duties of trash removal, sweeping, and organizing items


  • must have current driver’s license, CDL not required
  • must be able to lift 50 lbs. with ease, have no physical limitations precluding handling heavy items.
  • must have a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and learning spirit
  • must be consistently punctual and faithful to be at work when scheduled
