The Hope Family Thrift Store is always looking for passionate people who love charity work and desire to give back to the community. We are thankful to the volunteers and supporters who give their time, talents and gifts to keep our store successful and available as a resource for disaster survivors.

Group Volunteering:

To inquire about possible group volunteering opportunities, email volunteer@hopefamilythrift.org. Give us an idea of the size and make up of your group, i.e. how many, what ages, what physical capabilities, dates you are available, etc. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch!

Individual Volunteering:

We are always looking for individuals who can make some sort of consistent commitment to come volunteer on a regular basis….as often as you like for as long as you like each time.

To qualify for that type of volunteering, you must be one of the following:

  • a member of the Austin Disaster Relief Network
  • referred by an ADRN member
  • attend a church that is active with ADRN.

ADRN membership only requires you attend a free 3 hour class. To register, go to www.adrntx.org and sign up for the Orientation & Preparedness Class.
